Online Therapy

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing our part to flatten the curve by offering online therapy.

  • online therapy can be just as effective as in-person therapy

  • maintain social distancing, while getting support during this time of overwhelm and uncertainty

  • more flexible appointment times available

Preparing for your online appointment

  • prior to your appointment, you will be sent electronic intake and consent forms - please complete these before your appointment

  • you will be sent a link for the location of your appointment - there is no need to download any apps or programs, simply click the link

  • You need a computer with a good internet connection and webcam. The minimum system requirements for a successful call include:

    Mac/PC/Linux/Chromebook with camera, microphone, and speakers

    Internet connection with at least 750kb/s download and upload speeds

    Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari 11+ (latest release versions)  

    You'll need to have the latest operating systems such as Windows 10 or MacOS Catalina to obtain the latest versions of the browsers listed above

    Javascript must be enabled

  • you will wait in a virtual waiting room - when they are ready, your therapist will begin the session

  • ensure that you are in a quiet, private space

  • it is recommended that you use headphones/earbuds

  • if you are experiencing difficulties connecting, your therapist will telephone you
