Life circumstances change your perspective and at the same time shape your present and your future.

If you are going through cancer treatment you may wish for an extra year to see a grandchild be born, see your daughter get married or hope to reconcile with a loved one.

If you are an immigrant like myself, you may just wish to have a better life for yourself and for your children. Perhaps you ran away from your beloved country and want to be free of oppression, free of fear, to be free to have a life.

If you are going through separation and divorce, you may want to have a couple of days of peace in your life and know that you are making the right decision.

Whatever the circumstances in your life at this moment, please know that I am are here to listen to you, to be present with you, and to help you build your plan of action to achieve a better today and an even better tomorrow.

I obtained my Degree in Psychology from the UNAM in Mexico City and have Bachelor of Social Work and Master of Social Work degrees from the University of Windsor. I am registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) as well as the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW).

I have worked with children and adults with different challenges such as learning disabilities, acquired brain injury, those experiencing anxiety or depression, homelessness, patients going through cancer treatment, individuals impacted by trauma, grief and loss, relationship difficulties, and more.

I use a variety of different tools in working with my clients such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Brief Action Planning, Solution-Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
